Welcome to Montana!

Nestled comfortably in the Elkhorn Mountains of Montana, is a little pack of happy hunters known as the Brittany.
Here at Elkhorn Mountain Britts we (we being the dogs and myself), train and compete in field events such as Field Trials, and Hunt Tests.
We also compete in Conformation, and are training to title in agility (NADAC and AKC), Rally, Obedience, Coursing Ability, and Barn Hunt.
The dogs here are spoiled rotten, very well loved, and they run the show, but they pull their weight by being my buddies and by hunting in the fall, so it evens out!
GOALS
To further my studies with every opinion, suggestion, remark, and so on. To breed happy, healthy, good looking and hard working Brittany's, to continue their purpose as a highly valued Dual (Dual meaning Conformation and Hunting quality) dog.
To breed wonderful family pets that can go from couch potato (though this breed does best in active homes, to show dog, and out to the field, all in one day.
To not let my age deter me from doing anything. To remind myself with every litter I will improve, either by making a mistake, or being almost spot on with what I was doing, looking at the final result and trying to figure out what I could do better, because there's no such thing as the "perfect" dog. Every dog has a flaw somewhere.
To continue doing what I love to do. Working with dogs every day, learning more and more, enjoying my life with the creature that will never judge me, or anyone, for any reason (besides maybe getting fed a little late!). I'll never be rich as long as I have dogs, and I am HAPPILY open to accepting that fact. Money cannot buy happiness. Slobbery doggy kisses can.
